About Me

I attended the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Ariz, and graduated from the School of Journalism in December 2008.

Since September 2009, I have worked as a Score Taker for The Arizona Republic. Since March 2009, I have also worked as the New Media Advisor for Mort Rosenblum, a former longtime AP reporter and author of Little Bunch of Madmen.

From August 2007 to May 2009, I worked at the sports desk of the Tucson Citizen. I began as an intern and eventually became a stringer covering everything from high school sports, minor league baseball, the Tucson Rodeo, and UA athletics. I have also been published in The Arizona Republic, the Arizona Daily Star, and Inside Tucson Business.

Sports are a passion of mine, and I hope in my career to enhance the experience by bringing people closer to the games they love.

My expertise is with the Web and new media and I have experience with HTML, Final Cut, and Photoshop, among others, which allows me to be an active participant in what the online world can offer. The Web is where media is headed, and I look forward to being a part of the transition.

My greatest attributes are my wide ranging skills, infectious energy, indispensable creativity, fun-loving attitude, and the ability to adapt.

I have lived in Arizona since 1989 and graduated from Brophy Prep in 2004.
