As the Scoretaker for The Arizona Republic since September 2009, I prepare high school scores for both the online and print products, produce live online chats for readers, and report on sports around the state.
In addition, I have worked since March 2009 as the New Media Advisor to Mort Rosenblum, a former AP reporter and author of Little Bunch of Madmen.
From August 2007 to May 2009, I worked at the sports desk of the Tucson Citizen. I began as an intern and eventually became a stringer covered high school sports, minor league baseball, the Tucson Rodeo, and UA athletics. I have also been published in The Arizona Republic, the Arizona Daily Star, and Inside Tucson Business.
My expertise is with the Web and new media. I have extensive knowledge in HTML and am expereinced with Final Cut and Photoshop, among others.
My greatest attributes are my multitude of skills, infectious energy, indispensable
creativity, fun-loving attitude, and the ability to adapt.
I attended the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Ariz, and graduated from the School of Journalism in December 2008.
I have lived in Arizona since 1989 and graduated from Brophy Prep in 2004.
